Waitsfield Elementary School Library
Ellen Drysdale is your friendly librarian, available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesday mornings. Emily Church is the library assistant, available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons. Stu Libby is our intrepid volunteer, who makes sure books are shelved correctly and that everything is shipshape!

The Waitsfield Elementary School Library contains more than 8,000 print books, magazines, and audio books, so that children of all ages can find fiction or nonfiction that piques their interests. Students visit the library once a week for literary enrichment and research skills lessons, and may check out books at any time.
Parents of present and future students of the school are also welcome to use the library. Hang out before, during, or after school hours, peruse our small parenting section, and check out books. If you cannot find what you need in the school library, there's no need to panic--we are able and willing to do interlibrary loan throughout the state's public and school libraries. If neither the librarian nor the assistant is available, you may sign materials out manually on a clipboard on the circulation desk.
Library materials may be borrowed for 2 weeks, and renewed after that if there are no holds on the item. If an item is lost or damaged, we expect the family to replace the item or reimburse the school. Patrons who have chronically overdue materials, or lost or damaged materials may have their borrowing privileges restricted.
